The Final of the National Level Musabaqah Al-Qur'an Reading 1446 Hijrah/2025 continued for the second night at the Plenary Hall, International Convention Centre in Berakas, 23rd April 2025. Gracing the ceremony was His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah.

 

Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by:

 

Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Indera Setia Diraja Sahibul Karib Pengiran Anak Haji Idris bin Pengiran Maharaja Lela Pengiran Muda Abdul Kahar, Yang Di-Pertua of Adat Istiadat Negara;

 

Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs;

 

Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence;

 

Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health as the Acting Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports;

 

Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd. Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy;

 

And Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs as well as members of the Musabaqah Executive Committee.

 

The ceremony commenced with the mass recital of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Yang Dimuliakan Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Awang Haji Emran bin Haji Kunchang.

 

6 participants presented their reading respectively on the second night of the musabaqah. They were Awang Abdul Qawiyyel Azeez bin Haji Abdul Rajid; Dayang Amal Nazirah binti Haji Asmat; Awang Ahmad Zulwaqar bin Haji Suhaili; Dayang Nur Rodaah binti Haji Asmat; Awang Haji Hazwan bin Haji Salim; and Dayangku Amal Zahirah binti Pengiran Haji Jofri.

 

A Selawat performance, Nuril Anwar enlivened the ceremony.
